Questions about the booking process?
If the cancellation is due to force majeure (including, for example, if there is a major tropical storm/hurricane affecting the Virgin Islands or if there is a government mandate or travel ban and you cannot reach the Virgin Islands), then you will be able to reschedule your charter within twelve months of the scheduled charter date with no penalty fees or you may choose to receive a refund of all the payments made less 35% cancellation fee from the charter fee. In the unlikely event of you cancelling your charter, all deposits are forfeited. However, if we can re-book a different charter for the same dates, you could get a partial refund. We always advise our clients to get ‘Cancel for Any Reason’ (CFAR) trip insurance. Major travel insurance companies can cover cancellations due to extreme weather or an Act of God, emergency medical issues, and other specific situations. Please inquire with your preferred travel insurance company.
A typical charter is 7 nights/8 days, but we offer 5 nights minimum.
The charters are private so the whole yacht will be exclusively for you and your group plus the crew, captain and private chef, taking care of you.
If you are more than 6 months away from your charter dates, a 25% deposit is required to secure your dates. Then 25% at 6 months out, and the final 50% is due 60 days before the charter starts. If your charter is within 6 months of the booking dates, 50% will be required for the deposit, and the final 50% is due 60 days before the charter starts.
The reservation process is very simple. Send us an inquiry letting us know which dates you are interested in, and we will confirm availability. Once you decide on your charter dates and number of guests in your group, we will send you the yacht charter agreement so you can review and sign, along with the payment instructions for the deposit.
